GUM DISEASE AND ITS PREVENTION

Did you know that gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss? That’s why, at Acorn Dental Practice in York, we’re committed to keeping our patients’ gums healthy and their smiles bright. With a great team of qualified dentists, therapists and hygienists, our dental practice is a top choice for all gum disease treatments and advice for prevention.

Effective Gum Disease Treatment in York

Although there is no gum disease cure, it can be managed by thorough and regular hygiene measures. Fortunately, two or four visits with Kim or Laura are included in our monthly payment plans to encourage patients to maintain the health of their gums.

The General Dental Council has now approved Direct Access to a hygienist/therapist. This means patients can book in directly with the hygienist/ therapist and do not have do to see a dentist first, so that people who just want to have their teeth cleaned can just book in and do so. Going to a party or wedding and feel your teeth are stained? Book in and have them cleaned.
