Extractions and Sedation

We carry out most extractions at the practice including many surgical cases. Our Dentist Vlad has specialist training in oral surgery and can remove many wisdom teeth and roots as well as more difficult extractions. Occasionally you may need to be referred to York District Hospital or a specialist practice if the treatment is too complex.

If patients need particularly stressful treatments doing , such as a wisdom tooth extracting, we work with other practices and the district hospital to allow patients to have such treatments either done under Intravenous Sedation or General anaesthetic.
